In our experience, this is the family's all-purpose version — not as gentle as the Calming version, nor as strong as the Deep version — and for normal-to-oily skin it strikes a good balance between smoothness and brightness. The one thing to note is the kaolin can feel slightly tightening on dry skin; that group shouldn't skip their moisturizer afterward.
Mix half a teaspoon of powder in your palm with a little warm water to form a soft foam, massage onto damp skin, and rinse with lukewarm water; a few times a week.
